Pushing the boundaries of life, after being misunderstood. Featuring Chef Josey from Master Chef 11

  • Summary

  • MasterChef season 11 contestant Chef Josey Erin (Co-Host) and I talked about how the show helped to push her boundaries to another level, which helped to create her unique menu. Her ghost restaurant located in Buffalo NY operates out Massachusetts Avenue Project (MAP) facility, which is a nonprofit urban farm located on Buffalo's West Side. Her specialties are Eggrolls and Tacos, however, they're not traditional. She takes fine dining, family-style foods, and desserts to another level, by compacting them into eggroll & taco-sized feasts. Not only is she creating works of art for your stomach, but she also has the best names to describe her foods like (Touchy Feely which is a turkey taco, or Buffalo 716 chicken eggroll)  We all have unique stories on our WHYs and Chef Josey shared with us, a different perspective of misunderstood foods like zucchini & squash and why she has them tattooed on her arms. Chef Josey feels that she can relate to these vegetables as she's been misunderstood her entire life. The featured song that Chef Josey chose was "Roll Out" by Ludacris. She felt it described her business slogan " Come see how we roll" and her life.

Ludacris Fun Fact: He still owns the first car that he ever bought, which is a 1993 Acura Legend
