  • Russel McLean is a retired holistic dentist.  He listened to our podcast with Dr Wendie Trubow (Everyday toxins in our lives) and reached out to discuss with us what he has seen in his many years working within the dentistry industry - first as a conventional dentist, then as a holistic dentist.

    Russel is highly thought of in the health sector within Dunedin and we have met many of his ex-patients who could not speak highly enough of him.  In this podcast episode we discuss the history of amalgam fillings and mecury toxicity (about half of amalgam fillings are liquid mercury, a liquid metal known to be highly toxic to nerve and brain tissue) and what you should be looking out for. 

    We also discuss options for good oral healthcare - understanding, this is not only important for the health of our mouth, but also the health of our heart, respiratory system and brain.
