  • Reco12 Ask-it Basket with the Recovery Guy - Robert Pardon
    Jul 25 2024

This week, Reco12 branched out a little and did an "Ask-it Basket" with the Recovery Guy, Robert Pardon. Robert has been a speaker on the Reco12 Speaker Meeting Podcast several times on meetings 44, 91, and 145. In this conversation, Robert and Justin B discuss about 10 questions that were submitted from various addicts from various backgrounds and locations. We dive deep into working with and loving others as well as working for and loving Higher Power. Our primary purpose is fitting ourselves to be of maximum service to God and our fellows.

Specific questions posed and answered include:

    • How do I learn to take it one day at a time when everything seems urgent?
    • How do we go into places that could be slippery in early Recovery?
    • It seems I must surrender, but that is the hardest thing ever done. I’m afraid of surrendering.
    • Have you lost a loved one in recovery?
    • A time when you felt that God had abandoned you in recovery and how did you regain that connection?

You can find Robert at any of the following places:
