    The Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) is a picture book. It is a picture of a Person. That Person is Jesus. God has painted these pictures in the ancient culture of the Bible. Unfortunately, modern Western believers are not familiar with this culture, so we don’t see the pictures. Because we don’t see the pictures, we think the “Jesus” story begins in Matthew when it really begins in Genesis.
