    Las novedades de Americana nos llevan para empezar a… 1969. Fue cuando Neil Young grabó por primera vez con Crazy Horse y es ahora cuando el canadiense recupera tomas inéditas. La película Twisters reúne una banda sonora llena de sonidos enraizados con Luke Combs a la cabeza, cuando debuta Nick Taylor y Tylor And The Train Robbers se convierten en héroes sonoros. También lo son Old Crow Medicine Show, que han recuperado a Critter Fuqua de igual forma que Lost Dog Street Band han vuelto de un descanso preocupante y Silverada parece poner orden a las dos décadas de Mike & The Moonpikes. Fernando Rubio vuelve a impactarnos de lleno con su cuarto trabajo antes de que podamos compartir la primera muestra sonora del nuevo disco de George Strait, el segundo Zach Top y admiremos el respeto por la tradición de Jenna Paulette y Alice Wallace. Es una buena forma de brindar por los buenos tiempos a los que regresan Robert Jon & The Wreck, los Decemberists, o jóvenes como Brownwyn Keith-Hynes, The Lostines, Emily Nenni o Luke Tyler Shelton. Incluso el equipo que siempre ha acompañado a Randy Travis ha construido una canción con Inteligencia Articifial para lanzarla como novedad.     Nuestro porche cuenta esta semana con la presencia de Kevin Montgomery, hijo de uno de los grandes pioneros del rock’n’roll como fue Bob Montgomery, amigo de un icono como Buddy Holly y el 50% de aquel dúo mítico llamado Buddy & Bob. Su carrera ha estado siempre ligada a lo que entendemos por Americana desde las distintas facetas de la industria musical. Influido por Glen Campbell y las composiciones de Jimmy Webb, ha sido Jackson Browne su gran referente. Kevin ha venido acompañado, además, de Michael Scott Boudreaux, que ha estado a su lado en los conciertos españoles y se perfila como un músico al que seguir de cerca.
