  • Fairy Tales, Musings, and Cancer Treatment
    Apr 29 2024
Tune in to Razzle Dazzle Radio and hold on to your hats. Guest artists Lee Andersen and Diana Ulman are bursting with energy and enthusiasm for their artistic talent. Among her many endeavors, whirlwind Lee Andersen runs an interactive art museum, best described "as a pretend department store for the creatures of fairy tales, ancient myths, and other worlds,” located in the Long Reach Center off Tamar Drive in Columbia. The New Zealand native encourages visitors to find one’s inner artist by participating in one of many craft workshops, each one designed for kids and the "young at heart.” Her tips and encouragement bubble over as she speaks about her artistic clothing she designs and her extensive philanthropy, especially helping young artists. Jot down her upcoming events and be prepared to be dazzled. Painter and visionary Diana Ulman gets things done in a quieter manner. She’s been honored for her paintings and musings by Howard County Arts Center and The Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore. She is totally involved in her son’s Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults. In 2019, The Ulman House, a hospitality house opened in Baltimore, open to all who needed a place to rest and restore after medical treatments nearby. Check out the Blue Jeans Ball on June 8 and meet the Ulman family. We're honored to present these two outstanding women on Razzle Dazzle Radio.

Ann-Marie, a somatic educator and dance performance artist, is back in her hometown of Columbia, where she teaches and leads workshops at The Pearl.
