Subject matter grussome

Who can sleep with this ending?
Found the ending scene most disturbing. I would think a “lighter” subject matter is best for sleep

What the…

I like the narrator and how he tells stories.
I’m baffled at how a story like this is thought to be sleep worthy. Rather disturbing.
