Recently she has become increasingly active in her efforts relating to legislative reform including the groundbreaking Coercive Control legislation that was passed and signed into NJ Law in January of 2024. It is Courtney's hope that Family Court will one day be a trauma informed system that prioritizes child safety above parental contact when Domestic Abuse is a factor.
