We're going back to season one of Bridgerton, where we explore Simon's speech impediment and how he would have been treated by Regency society. In this eye opening interview, Zoe tells us about disabilities in the Georgian and Victorian period such as speech impediments, hearing impairment and physical deformities. We'll discuss Queen Charlotte and King George's mysterious disability, The Bowes-Lyons family from Netflix's the Crown, asylums, freak shows and the difference of treatment between the wealthy and the working class.
