  • From Shock to Support: Inviting Our Parents Into Our Recovery Story
    Aug 26 2025

What do you do when you're finally ready to tell the people you love most about betrayal in your marriage? In this deeply personal episode, we invite Clinton’s parents, Greg and Cathy Muñoz, to recount the night they first learned about his sexual addiction and the devastating impact it had on our marriage.

From the shock of hearing their son confess infidelity, to the helplessness of watching their daughter-in-law sit in trauma and grief, Greg and Cathy share honestly about what that moment felt like—fear, confusion, shame, sadness, and the overwhelming question: How do we respond?

They also reflect on what helped them most: choosing silence over quick fixes, offering practical support like childcare, and educating themselves on betrayal trauma and sexual addiction recovery. For Greg, that night became a personal turning point—confronting his own hidden struggles and beginning his own journey of recovery.

This conversation isn’t just our family’s story—it’s a roadmap for parents and in-laws who feel lost in the wake of betrayal. If you’ve wondered how to support your children without causing more harm, how to walk with both the betrayed and the unfaithful spouse, or how to move from shock to compassion, this episode offers hope and tangible steps forward.

  • Why Is Naming My Feelings so Frickin' Hard?!
    Aug 12 2025

In this episode, we share a big life update—our family just moved from Idaho back to California! From surfing with our kids to podcasting at our parent's dining room table, we're in a season of transition, and we're bringing you along for the ride!

But what we really dive into today is something we see every week in our recovery course and in our own lives: how identifying your feelings can change everything. We talk about how triggers aren't just annoying—they're clues to what’s happening inside us. We share stories of past tantrums (hello, crumpled water bottle), how we’re helping our kids name their emotions, and why saying “I’m fine” blocks the intimacy we were made for.

If you’ve ever struggled to know what you're feeling—or to communicate it in a way that creates connection—you’re not alone. And if you want our custom Feelings Words List, just shoot us a message and we’ll send it your way.

  • Surrendered Sexuality, Postmodern Lies, and the Road Back to Trusting God with Dr. Juli Slattery
    Aug 5 2025

Why do our sexual struggles create more shame than other sins we struggle with? Why do so many of us feel lost and unfixable as we strive for freedom? And what if healing doesn't begin with fixing what's broken- but surrendering to the One who can?

In this episode, we sit down with Dr. Juli Slattery to talk about her latest book, Surrendered Sexuality: How Knowing Jesus Changes Everything. In this conversation, we discuss how more rules or pressure flat out don't work and will never create the transformation we truly desire. Juli breaks down the mindset shift between purity and integrity, why sexual sin feels heavier than other sins, and how postmodern culture has deeply shaped the way we think about sex, marriage, and identity—even in the church.

We also dig into the root of why so many of us resist God and how it prevents us from healing. Juli shares how knowing Jesus personally—not just theologically—becomes the turning point for so many who feel stuck, disillusioned, or ashamed.

If you've ever wondered where God was in your pain… if you've tried to "do better" but keep falling back… if you want real intimacy with God but feel a gap—you’re not alone. This conversation is raw, honest, and full of hope. We pray it invites you to stop managing your pain and start surrendering it—to the only One who can truly heal it.

  • "I Thought I Married the Good Guy" A Story of Betrayal & Hope with Michael and Hailey
    Jul 29 2025

In this episode, we are honored to interview Michael and Hailey, a couple we met at the Restored 2 More Restoration Celebration in Eagle, Idaho, and now have the privilege of walking alongside in Course 1. Michael and Hailey share their powerful story of betrayal, anger, addiction, and ultimately, the life-changing power of surrender.

Michael opens up about his hidden battle with pornography, identity struggles rooted in performance, and the turning point when secrecy gave way to honesty. Hailey vulnerably shares what it felt like to live in confusion, shame, and deep bitterness—not just toward Michael, but even toward God.

This episode is a powerful testimony of what happens when both partners reach the end of themselves and allow Jesus to do what only He can do. We talk about emotional intimacy, the danger of compartmentalization, learning how to feel again, and how anger—when processed with God—can become a gateway to healing.

Stories like this remind us that hope is real and restoration is possible. We pray this episode encourages you and inspires you to keep pressing into Jesus as He leads you through your own healing journey.

  • "Where Were You Jesus?!" Processing Pain with God
    Jul 22 2025

In this episode, we get really honest about why we both stiff-armed Jesus in the early stages of recovery. We talk about the anger we felt, the deep disappointment, and the fear of what would happen if we brought our raw, messy emotions to God.

    We also unpack:

    • The temptation to believe God is distant or cruel in our suffering
    • How childhood wounds shaped our relationship with God
    • The turning point that came through spiritual honesty, not pretending
    • And what happened when we finally let Jesus into the pain instead of pushing Him away

This conversation is real and raw. But it’s also filled with the hope and peace we found when we stopped running and let Jesus into the darkest places of our hearts. If you're wrestling with disappointment, doubt, or anger toward God, this episode is for you.

  • Battling Temptations of Revenge and Leaving After Being Betrayed
    Jul 15 2025

In this episode, we're sharing some big life and ministry updates—and opening up a conversation we've never had publicly before: battling temptation in the middle of betrayal trauma.

Charity vulnerably shares the raw and often unspoken temptations she faced—from thoughts of leaving to revenge fantasies—and how the enemy whispered lies that felt hard not to believe. But as she pressed into healing and drew closer to Jesus, those lies began to lose their grip.

We talk about the power of surrender, the weight of pride, and how "finishing the fantasy" can reveal the destruction that sin promises but never delivers. Many wives don't realize how normal it is to face intense spiritual battles during the healing and transformation process.

Our hope is that this episode reminds you that you're not alone in your pain, your thoughts, or the process. Jesus sees it all, and He's not intimidated by your struggle—He's with you in it.

We also share a few exciting ministry updates:

    • A major breakthrough in workbook publishing that could bring Course 1 to couples by this fall
    • A brand new 6-week personalized couples coaching opportunity
    • A chance to partner with us and help fund the final phase of this course launch

  • "Was Any of It Even Real?" The Power and Damage of Compartmentalization
    Jul 8 2025

Have you ever wondered how living a double life is even possible?

In today’s episode, we’re diving into a topic that comes up all the time in our coaching, course sessions, and personal conversations—compartmentalization. This concept, when misunderstood, creates so much confusion and disconnection in relationships. For many betrayed spouses, understanding it begins to bring clarity to the chaos. For many husbands, it’s a lightbulb moment—finally seeing how addiction was hidden, justified, and separated from the rest of life.

We unpack what compartmentalization looked like in our own story—how I (Clint) could act out and still try to show up as a “present” spouse, while Charity was left wondering, “Was any of our past connection even real?” We also share the metaphor that helped us finally make sense of it all—why it was so damaging, and how true healing began when I stopped living in separate “drawers” and started integrating every part of my life under God’s design for authenticity and intimacy.

If you’ve ever felt confused, disconnected, or wondered how someone could live a double life, we pray this conversation brings clarity and encouragement. There’s hope on the other side of compartmentalization—and freedom in being fully known and fully loved.

  • Raising Littles While in Recovery: How Defiance Might Be A Cry for Safety
    Jul 1 2025

"Have you ever wondered how your healing journey might be affecting your kids?"

In this raw and hope-filled episode, we open up about something deeply personal: how our past addiction and betrayal affected our son in ways we didn’t fully understand until years later. From missed bonding moments to outbursts, shutdowns, and total dysregulation—what we thought were just "strong-willed" behaviors were actually cries for safety. But here’s the good news: Jesus is in the business of redemption. And the healing we've experienced has radically changed the way we parent and connect with our kids. We pray this story brings you hope and helps you make sense of your own journey.

We’re also giving a little peek behind the scenes—sharing about our family’s move back to California and some exciting ministry updates! Our couples course is being professionally filmed, our new his-and-her workbooks are on the way, and we’re launching a leadership network that could reach couples across the globe. Through it all, we’re reminded that when we create safety in our homes, we reflect the heart of the Father—a God who never gives up on us. “There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1). Not for you. Not for your kids. Not for your story.
