  • July 17th, 1987. In her house of Arcachon, Dominique, mother of family, is pulled out of sleep by a man. He rapes her and then withdraws into the darkness, without leaving any trace behind him. Dominique is the first of a long list. Between 1987 and 2002, at least 36 other women from the southwest of France were surprised by the man. Each time, the predator cuts the electricity, enters through the roof without a sound, commits his crime and leaves the way he came. He is so careful that it is not until 1998 that, following several assaults in the Hossegor region, the police understand that a sexual predator is active on the Atlantic coast...
