  • Kandace Chapple: Welcoming the funny, fab, and not-so-fast!

    As a freelance writer with most of her publication credits revolving around surviving, hiking, and biking around Northern Michigan's forests, Kandace lives to be outside. She has completed the Iceman Cometh Bike Challenge - the largest point-to-point mountain bike race in the US -  eight times with 5,000 other riders - managing to not podium not even once, not even close. BUT she accomplished her lifelong bike dream last summer: she started a women’s bike group for the funny, fab, and not-so-fast! So get comfy and enjoy the story behind the founder and creation of MI Girl Bike Group.

The core focus has always been and will continue to be to celebrate everyone’s accomplishments, no matter their speed, distance, or ability.
