    In this episode, we discuss Parkinson's Disease with Parkinson's Nurse Therapist, Lisa Wynne.


    Lisa is the Parkinson’s Disease Nurse Specialist for the Parkinson’s Association of Ireland since November 2021. She is a registered general and children’s nurse and in 2013 she was given the opportunity to train as a nurse specialist for one of the advanced therapies for Parkinson’s Disease. Lisa spent over seven years working as a nurse therapy specialist as part of a nationwide team. Lisa provides a national service for those living with Parkinson’s, those caring for those with Parkinson’s, health care professionals, and the PAI organisation. Her role includes support, education, health promotion, advocacy, and development of the nurse service within PAI.
