Mike Buckley is the co-owner and CEO of the United States SailGP team and serves as the team’s strategist. Co-founded by Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison and world champion yachtsman Sir Russell Coutts, SailGP is an international sailing competition where national teams compete across a season of grands prix around the world. In October 2023, the U.S. team was sold to Mike and a group of investors led by former Milwaukee Bucks owner, Marc Lasry and his Avenue Sports Fund.
