Our Christmas special! We dedicate our time to exploring the best not Christmas films to watch at Christmas, the quintessential experience that do not feature a tree or a santa or a mince pie. We also take some time to explore some AI generated alternative podcast titles, just to settle the mood

Today we feature requests from a special guest, the immaculate comedian with a knowledge of film Chris Thorburn, adapted slightly and expanded. We go on for a while about high school movies and films that are kind of pinocchio vibed. Meaty!

Bookended with some heavy films, we kick off with Tearjerks, navigate the topic of cartoon/live-action crossovers, and then delve into the mailbag for some films not like films, and films where nothing really happens for 9 hours

Still searching for a theme tune, we unpack the difficult ‘comedy commentators’ category, enjoy a leisurely stroll through a much loved TV sitcom as we define ‘Films referenced in FRIENDS’, and finally we delve into our past with an audience suggestion ‘ Films we thought were great when we were 7 and 17’.

This week, we explore films with Frank Sinatra films in them (but not Frank Sinatra films) and films where women are a weapon (but more nuanced than that).

Featuring Marianne MacRae and Richard Hanrahan, the married sketch duo unleash their movie madness onto the world.
