    Professor Paul Ekblom is a leading authority on crime and its prevention. He has committed his career to developing frameworks and toolkits that can be used to guiding the work of security practitioners. He has even located these on a free to use website: www.crimeframeworks.com. They are diverse and cover many aspects. After a career as a criminological researcher at the UK Home Office, he was appointed Professor of Design Against Crime at the University of the Arts London (UAL) based in the Design Against Crime Research Centre (now Design Against Crime Research Lab), Central Saint Martins. He now continues to collaborate as Professor Emeritus at UAL.
