Sermons on Genesis (IV) - No More Chaos, Void or Darkness Now (II)

De: The New Life Mission
  • Resumen

  • In the Book of Genesis, the purpose for which God created us is contained. When architects design a building or artists draw a painting, they first conceive the work that would be completed in their minds before they actually begin working on their project. Just like this, our God also had our salvation of mankind in His mind even before He created the heavens and the earth, and He made Adam and Eve with this purpose in mind. And God needed to explain to us the domain of Heaven, which is not seen by our eyes of the flesh, by drawing an analogy to the domain of the earth that we can all see and understand. Even before the foundation of the world, God wanted to save mankind perfectly by giving the gospel of the water and the Spirit to everyone's heart. So although all human beings were made out of dust, they must learn and know the gospel Truth of the water and the Spirit to benefit their own souls. If people continue to live without knowing the dominion of Heaven, they will lose not only the things of the earth, but also everything that belongs to Heaven.

    Nov 11 2022

We believe that the God who created the universe is our God. If this is true, then it is most urgent for us to find out how we can get to know this God and how we should follow Him. In other words, on what basis should we believe in God our Creator and follow Him? The answer to this question is the following: We should get to know this God our Creator and follow Him based on His Word written in the Bible. Put differently, only when we realize the Word of God, who made us and has saved us from sin through the gospel of the water and the Spirit, can we really live by faith.

    Nov 11 2022

So far, we have shared the Word on what God had done until the sixth day of His creation. Now I would like us to ruminate on the passage about the seventh day of creation. God said in Genesis 2:1-2, “Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.” It’s said here that on the seventh day God finished making the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them. And as God completed His work of creation, He rested on the seventh day.

  • 4. The Mist Is An Evil Thought Seeking The Desires of the Flesh (Genesis 2:4-6)
    Nov 11 2022

A person needs to speak much in order to remove the filth in the heart. A person needs to speak much to have all the filthy things in the heart come out and have them removed from the heart. If one just stays still and doesn’t say anything, the waste is not removed and the toxic poison of such filth accumulates. Filth turns into toxic poison. Then the human heart becomes filled with the toxic poison, and then, only the poison spills out of the person. Of course, you might also make some mistakes when you do a lot of speaking and receive scolding as a result at times, but the filth in your heart is removed and new things come out of it afterwards.
