  • Shed Session 11: Octavia Freud
    Dec 6 2022

Welcome to the first episode of Season Two of the 'Shed Sessions' podcast. To mark the occasion, Warren is joined by Octavia Freud for a rich insight into creating music and being true to your art. Martin Andrews (Octavia Freud) is a DJ, musician, songwriter, composer and remixer focusing on DIY electronica. Among others, Octavia Freud plays us some incredible tracks from the new Album 'Land Ahoy' and we learn more about a creative response to the Marina Abramovic method. Martin also chats about and plays an exclusive live track from 'Mancbeth', a Shakespearean concept album. Tiger Mendoza (@tigermendoza) has done an amazing job with the audio production. You can find out more here: https://www.octaviafreud.com/ and @octaviafreud and https://octaviafreud.bandcamp.com/ . • Shed Session 10: Slaven
    Dec 2 2022

Warren beams Slaven into the Shed via an internet call and they build a virtual bridge between Austria and England with the most incredible guitar music. Slaven is a musician and composer and he can shred the electric guitar like no other. We learn about his classical training and can hear how it weaves through his guitar playing. Slaven is a massive groove metal fan and Warren embraces yet another musical genre as the pair are united through the appreciation of Pantera, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Guns 'N Roses and much more. Slaven generously plays his guitar for us and we can sit back as the power of the music infuses our very souls. Slaven has a new EP coming out soon and you can explore further via Instagram: @st1.9.8.4
