Its veracity lies in the fact that not only was its author a frequent visitors to Shirdi during Sai Baba’s lifetime and a witness to many of the incidents that he refers to in the book but most of the stories and anecdotes recorded therein, have been confirmed by one or the other of the devotees, who were his contemporaries.
