  • Tunnel Talk #167 - Danielson Refused to Be Sucked... Into That Vortex
    Jul 28 2024

Wrestling is in a summer slump, but this week we had BLOOD N GUTS, BABY, and it reinvigorated us! The girls spend waaaaay too much of the podcast talking through that match and the related stories, because we deserve it! We also discuss a frankly inexplicable promo where Jeff Jarrett (??) tries to inspire (???) Bryan Danielson, why Swerve vs. Danielson isn’t working, and how we’re going to off ourselves if they make us watch Bucks vs. FTR AGAIN at Wembley. But the women’s division is doing great and Swerve and Hangman? They’re going to make us [redacted] [redacted] until we [redacted].

  • Imp's WWE Adventure - CM Punk's Pink Shoes
    Jul 26 2024

Matt Maher, aka Imp, revisits the WWE week that was. Talking Friday Night SmackDown and Monday Night RAW!

Cody Rhodes faced down Solo Sikoa's Bloodline and lost a friend again as the build to the Undisputed WWE Championship match at SummerSlam.

Whilst over on RAW, Rhea Ripley rightly took over the show and set Dom on the right path. Whilst CM Punk and Drew McIntyre took strides further down the wrong one, calling for Adam Pearce to introduce a Special Guest Referee!

  • Wrestling Art w/ Chris Things Ep. 39 - MOTW w/ Jaims Vanderbeek: Double-Header Edition
    Jul 25 2024

Episode 39 is here pals! It's our Chris Things Art "Match of the Week" Edition w/ the esteemed Unkle of Beeks back for a 'DOUBLE-HEADER' episode talking the tremendous combination that is Big Van VADER vs Riki Choshu (from 1989 New Japan) & Masato Tanaka vs Muhammad Yone (from earlier this year in NOAH)! Two matches linked by their truly beautiful level of gruff ass-beating & general violence. We also chat a whole bunch of nonsense as you'd expect - including another dog run-in, this time actually peeing on Jeremey's bed MID-SHOW!!

In my 'World of Chris-Things' intro monologue I chat about the terrifying amount of things that I have coming up on my Chris Things Art events schedule over the next week. Terrifying but exciting times friends!

AUDIO NOTE: A 'SEVERE' audio warning on this one pals. As I was recording the bulk of this episode in a bit of a rush (with all of the things I have going on right now), I unfortunately did not discover until after recording that our weird static issue came back on my audio for most of the M.O.T.W. chat. I'm really sorry about it friends! I tried to edit as much of it out as I could but a significant amount remains. If that kind of thing annoys you, please feel free to give this one a skip. It's really unfortunate because other than that, I think this might be one of our best episodes yet!

    Enjoy!!
