Welcome, True Believers, to what we hope will be the first of many episodes for Spider-Man: The Audio Drama. SMtAD was written and directed by long-time Spider-Man comic book fan Joseph Bozlinski, creator of Apex Shadow and head of ValiantShadow Productions, and edited by Christopher Z of Audio Anomaly. SMtAD is our newest addition to the Marvel Audio Drama Universe-- fitting in nicely with the existing canon-- but it's also the start of an epic in its own right.

Our story will take Peter Parker from his early days as a hero, and see him change and grow as time goes on and the story continues. You'll see new, contemporary takes on Peter, his supporting cast, and many of his classic adversaries. SMtAD is a contemporary techno-thriller, examining the dangers of corporate greed, rampant late-stage capitalism, and reckless scientific advancement.

In this first episode, Peter is excited to attend a wild party, organized by his best friend Harry Osborn. It's been a little over a year since the passing of Peter's Uncle Ben, and Harry is determined to give both Peter and their friend Gwen a night to remember. But when Harry's father Norman, nefarious CEO of Oscorp, coldly terminates a senior engineer from his aeronautics division, a new high-flying villain is born in the form of the vulture-- and the only one who can stop him is the Amazing Spider-Man!

Action! Intrigue! Drama! Perhaps some budding romance? Everything a Spider-Man story should be. We hope you'll join us for the ride! Leave a like and a comment down below-- show us you want more of these things! We're eager to hear what you think!

Need more

Mr. Anomaly, I think that this podcast has potential for amazing storytelling and adapting of characters, if you lay off the cussing a bit and made more episodes, I think you will make us true believers very happy.

Everything was awesome

I do not understand why they ended it with episode 1. This is very well done. The audio background noise and music. NEED MORE EPISODES.
