Matt Margenthaler is the head men's basketball coach at Minnesota State University in Mankato and the 2023-24 NABC Division II coach of the year.

In the 2023-24 season, coach Margenthaler led the Mavericks to a 35-2 record and their first ever NCAA Division II national championship. On April 26, 2024, he was rewarded with a new five-year contract extension.

Noah Kim is a college quarterback at Coastal Carolina. From 2020-2023, he was with Michigan State and became a starter for the Spartans in 2023. In high school, Kim led Westfield High School in Virginia to an undefeated season and a state championship as a sophomore and was 41-2 in his high school career.

Kelly Cheng is a beach volleyball player with Team USA. She and her partner, Sara Hughes, won the gold medal at the 2023 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships, establishing them as medal contenders for the 2024 Paris Olympics. Cheng competed in the 2020-21 Tokyo Games with Sarah Sponcil, finishing in ninth place.

Though they’ve spent time with other partners, Cheng and Hughes have a long, winning history together. They claimed the bronze medal at the 2013 U19 World Championships, silver at the 2014 U21 World Championships, and back-to-back NCAA championships in 2016 and 2017 in college at USC.

Cheng was named the AVP Tour’s Most Valuable Player in 2022, and the tour’s Best Offensive Player in 2022 and 2023.

LaKisha Williams is a track and field coach at Porter Ridge High School in North Carolina. In college, she was a track athlete at Kent State where she met her future husband, Jason Williams. Together, they opened a bakery in 2012 and partnered with the LeBron James Foundation to create a "Just a Kid from Akron" cherry cola cupcake.

She is currently coaching 250 track athletes at Porter Ridge and working with an additional 170 athletes at the Charlotte Heat Track Club.
