  • The Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI) briefly touched a new high after Tuesday's open. The S&P 500 (^GSPC) and Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC) also moved to the upside as investors continue to celebrate the Federal Reserve's rate cut. Federal Reserve Governor Michelle Bowman delivered remarks on Tuesday morning about the Fed's monetary policy. Governor Bowman was the only official to vote against last week's 50-basis-point cut — the first to do so since 2005. Takeaways Stock futures (ES=F, NQ=F, YM=F) are rising this morning as they look to extend their rate-cut rally. China's stock market (000300.SS) is seeing its biggest rally in more than four years after the country's central bank released new stimulus measures, which include cuts to interest rates and trimmed down payments for homes. Boeing (BA) workers rejected what the company called its "best and final offer." The offer included a pay raise of 30% over four years, up from the company's initial offer of 25%.
