She recovered from crack addiction five years ago, which Earl supported—although he also helped her get addicted. Fred is shocked by the revelation and is concerned about Brenda's poor life choices. Brenda's Past with Addiction Brenda has had her battles. Kicking her crack habit was no small feat, but with Earl’s support (despite his role in her addiction), she managed to recover. Fred's disapproval is palpable, especially as he insists Brenda has a knack for trouble. Audience Reaction and Interaction The audience is on fire in our LIVE Chat, reacting passionately to each twist and turn. Farrah Slingher keeps the energy up, encouraging audience participation and feeding off their gasps and cheers.
