I'm okay.I'm looking out my window right now and the sky is blue, which means I am not.It is cold and dreary, but the sky is fucking blue and the sun is shining and I will take that all the live long day. So there's that.[1:03] I have been continuing my path of wellness and things are ticky boo at the moment.Again, I'm going to attribute this to the new drug that I'm on.And one of these days I'm going to have the pill bottle here so I can tell you what it is in case you want to know and you want to make some changes to your life. Have I got the drug foryou?I'm fucking kidding. I would never sell pharmaceuticals on here.Although I would, you know, tell you what strain of weed I'm smoking.And it's called Animal Face.And it's delicious.And from what I gather, it's nutritious as well. So there's that.I have been, uh, smoking fairly regularly, uh, after, you know, dabbling for the better part of a couple of years with edibles.I've just was unable to kick the munchies with edibles with smoking.I seem to have found a pathway to no munchy land. And that's a good thing.I'm dropping some LBs, and that's going to make me feel better, and hopefully that's going to get me out walking more.And then it's a circle of life kind of moment.[2:28] I'm holding that fucking baby lion. It's Simba, I believe is his name.I'm holding that baby lion out over the... Now, let's talk about this for a minute.If I had a child, I don't think I would hold it out over over a cliff like that.And I did have children. So I am speaking from experience.I would not hold it. You know, if there was a whole gathering of animals below, I would not have my young in peril like that.That just seems, well, my dog seems to agree with me as well. So there's that.At any rate, um, um.[3:07] Yeah, I've been smoking quite a bit, but I haven't been drinking. And I'm okay with that.The last couple times I drank, I only had like three or four drinks, and I was hung over.And I don't know if you know this about me, but I'm a fucking bulldog. I can drink.I would put myself up against, well, somebody that can drink as much as me.I'm not into competitions, especially where beverages are concerned.Concerned i i don't think that um it's something that you necessarily need to compete over now strongman i'm you know if you can flip over a log and get get yourself a tire that you canflip over well then that's something you can prove to me but but drinking probably probably not i i think i think i'm mostly pretty good at keeping up so there's that today we are going tocontinue our journey through the catalog of, David.[4:08] Berman and Silver Jews.We are on American Water, which just recently celebrated its 25th anniversary.[4:20] And I know Berman isn't alive to make this kind of stuff happen, but I really would have liked to have seen a reissue.Um i'm not asking for much i'm not asking for a box set or anything like that because i don't know what kind of ephemera there is out there or extra tracks or demo tracks or whatnot, butdrag city you missed out on an opportunity here to um to uh to showcase showcase this fucking spectacular record and mark my words this record is spectacular we're we're you knowonly partially through it but it is really really good i strongly recommend listening to it in album form rather than in podcast form where you have to listen to me drone on about the qualityof the songs and and whatnot it's it's it works really well together these songs work really well together that's what i'm trying to say so there's that i uh, don't have a whole lot else to tellyou this week uh i'm feeling good i'm feeling fine.[5:37] Smoking herb and drinking wine and uh i know what i can tell you about as the calendar turned to 2024 this is my 50th year i'm going to turn 50 this year july 24th 1974 was theyear i was born and july 24th 2024 is ...
