He has stories to tell, and many of those stories can be found in his songs. 1st Song: It’s Gonna Take a Miracle - This is his second run at making his music a living. He was doing great things and running the circuits with Jason Aldean and others when his 14 year old daughter and then went off the deep end and was drinking a fifth of whiskey a night. A friend of his was working on getting his studio up and running again and asked Mark Ware if he would come onto the label and be the country musician for the label. This song was sent to him by a friend in Alabama. This song coincidentally ended up being the story of his life. 2nd Song: Shooting Whiskey Killing Time - He was telling someone about his story…how he lost it all and went astray. When he was in that space there was always time for drinking whiskey and killing time. 3rd Song: I Can’t Touch You - He was raising his son after a divorce and had to tell his girlfriend that her daughter was in an accident a didn’t survive. He realized that God had made him strong enough to handle that at the time. Her daughter was buried right next to his daughter and the girlfriend is now his wife. **Mark has a new release coming out on July 19 and we will share it with you asap** Don’t miss Kimmer and Derreck’s poems in our newsletter this week - we shared one of them on the show and it was amazing!     This episode brings Jared Bradley of MVAC Systems and musician Johnny Cole Murdock to our studio! Jared introduced us to and helped us understand the work of MVAC systems. These systems have been created to help track DNA. The forensic benefit to this is being able to help solve decades old crimes and maybe bring justice or closure to one of those past situations. DNA should never be the solo decision maker in a case, however, it can be quite useful. Jared also does a podcast called “All Things Crime”. If you ever have an interest in hearing about past crimes and how they’ve been solved or not solved yet, give a listen! Just remember, it's in the DNA! Johnny Cole Murdock has been in our network for a good while and it’s always nice catching up again. Johnny has been making music for a while, but was having some issues with his voice and throat for a while. He’s back and he’s got some new music. His upcoming song, “These Colors Don’t Run” should be released next month and will prove to be another great one from Johnny. Follow him so you don’t miss the release.
