  • ‘Whatever Happened to Baby Jane’ is highly regarded as the mother of all ‘Hagsploitation’ films. In the early to mid-60’s, there was a trend of casting older actresses in roles where they were seen as unbalanced, isolated, & vengeful. These films hold a special place within the queer community because of our respect and love for the actors of the Golden Age of Hollywood.

    This film, and others will be our focus for our ‘Pride & Peril’ series. For the next three weeks, I’ll have guests join the podcast and discuss everything from movies with a queer subtext to real-life queer terrors.
