  • Author Eliot Parker dishes on his latest book “Table for Two: A Collection of Stories” and the Ronan McCullough crime thriller novels. Parker talks about growing up in Charleston, WV and coming out gay later in life.     Author Eliot Parker was born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia. He’s released seven books to date. In the Spring of 2024, Parker was inducted into the West Virginia Literary Hall of Recognition for outstanding contributions to literature and West Virginia. He’s the recipient of the PenCraft and Featherd Quill book awards as well as the West Virginia Literary Merit Award. Kirkus magazine named Parker’s A Final Call as one of its Great Indie Books Worth Discovering in 2022. On top of being a published author, Parker is a writing teacher at the University of Mississippi and hosts the podcast Now, Appalachia. He resides in Oxford, Mississippi.
