TABLE OF CONTENT TALKING POINTS Episode (48)7-18-21(Host Scene)Zazz - Welcome to Episode 2 of Table of Content World. A show by streamers for streamers and the wonderful people who support them. I am Zazzaboo your host and the Editor in Chief of TableOC.com. ~Welcome to our regularly scheduled guest host Eminent Stump.Stump do you want to tell us about your up coming excursion?Introduce the boysHate: Streaming NewsDespite Twitch ban, Amouranth beats Pokimane & Valkyrae to become the most-watched streamer The entire Twitch community has long been trying to get Amouranth off the platform for a multitude of reasons - most notably, her "suggestive content".However, it seems like her plans to gain popularity through 'pseudo-ASMR' content have been paying off well so far. She recently became the most-watched female streamer across every platform out there, with a watch time of 13 million hours on Twitch. With this record, she has beaten Valkyrae and Pokimane - two of the most influential and popular female streamers at the moment. Well her plans have worked and many of those who criticized her may have added to the 13 million hours watched on Twitch. This is not the first time the hypocrisy of a community has been exposed like this. The world has seen people secretly follow the content of those who they have condemned many a time. On a different note, Amouranth's achievement might be alarming to some in the community. While the Twitch community condemns her content as being provocative, suggestive and harmful, this achievement goes to show that her content has a rather massive target audience.BATS - As someone who was banned for something inconsequential how does this stuff hit you?Ludwig warns Twitch will "die" if streamers just keep reacting to each other Ludwig Ahgren has spoken out against Twitch streamers reacting to each other’s clips every broadcast, warning the ever-popular streaming platform may “slowly die” if stars continue to simply rely on others’ content rather than creating their own.“There are just too many ‘React Andys’ now,” he said.“They’ve gone too far. I feel like people go live and all they do is watch other people’s content. I mean, it’s fine, I do it, but it’s really becoming too much.”The Twitch star warned, if left unchecked, the meta of streamers “feeding” off each other’s content could have major repercussions for the platform: “That content is fun, yeah, I like it. But if everyone does it, all the time, then the whole Twitch ecosystem dies. Someone has to be creating content for people to keep stealing.“What we need is fresh content, instead of all the reactions.Rogue  -  If this is the case do you think it could open the door for more smaller streamers to step into higher profile roles and fill the void left by react andys?? YouTube takes a page out of the Twitch playbook with subscriber-only chat Over the past couple of years, YouTube has worked on establishing itself as a streaming platform where gamers can stream their gameplay live to their followers, much like Twitch. Borrowing a few plays from the Twitch playbook, YouTube just added a few features that will make live streaming more enjoyable for both the streamer and their viewers.According to a new YouTube Help post, the company is looking to make its platform more streamer-friendly. The first major update that YouTube has recently pushed out is the ability for a streamer to select subscriber-only chat. The platform also added polls to YouTube stream chats. Polls are a great way for a streamer to interact with their audience, and it allows the audience to have some input on a streamer’s content. The last new feature is the ability for a streamer’s audience to share clips on the stream. This feature has been incredibly popular on Twitch and is a great way for people to discover new content creators on the platform. For now, YouTube’s clip feature is only for users with more than 1,000 subscribers, but the platform said it would eventually roll the feature out to everyone.Stump -  We have speculated for a long time about when youtube would make a push at Twitch. Do you think this is a good step?Tech/Gaming News - Twitter is killing FleetsTwitter is killing Fleets less than a year after launching the Stories-like feature to all its users. All Fleets will disappear for the final time on August 3rd.The short lived feature was at times controversial. Soon after it rolled out to all Twitter users last November, many raised questions about how the feature could be used to target others for harassment. Others questioned whether Twitter really needed a “Stories” feature of its own.In a blog post, Twitter VP of Product Ilya Brown said the company hadn’t “seen an increase in the number of new people joining the conversation with Fleets like we hoped.” Brown added that Spaces will continue to get placement at the top of users’ timelines and that the company is still ...

Well they are back and many are unhappyFrom Sportskeeda.comA few have passed since Amouranth and Indiefoxx's latest Twitch ban, and the suspension has been officially lifted. While it's good news for the creators themselves, the community isn't too pleased with how many times Twitch turns a blind eye to their activities. Amouranth alone has been banned over 5 times on the platform, yet her account is safe, while others get permanently banned on the first offense. Many users have expressed their frustrations at Twitch's system and have been calling for a reevaluation of their measures.Banned for seventy-two hours for exploiting the ASMR category with sexually suggestive material, Amouranth and Indiefoxx have served out their sentences and are ready to return to the platform. But after 5 bans it begs the question, why does Twitch have hope for streamers who have violated the Terms of Service multiple times?Members of the Twitch community themselves have come out and spoken about the dangerous precedent Twitch's blind eye sets and how this could eventually harm the very fabric of the platform. With the growing pressure from the community, Twitch may deal with suspensions in this vein differently in the future.Coach - Where do you fall on this subject as a female streamer and as a parent?Twitch Banned in An Entire Country Because of One StreamerIt's hard to go a week without hearing about another Twitch streamer being banned for some seemingly mundane reason. Thanks to unclear rules and inconsistent enforcement, the streaming platform has become infamous for these bans. This time, though, the entire site is the one that's banned, with the users in Slovakia completely unable to access it.Strangely, this site-wide ban is all due to one streamer, as he was found illegally playing online poker while on stream. There's a great bit of humor to be found in the situation, but it is also a serious issue for those Slovakians that can no longer access the site to watch their favorite streamersThe streamer in question is dDandis, a Twitch partner with around 35,000 followers. He hasn't been banned from the Twitch platform yet, but his actions did somehow result in the entirety of Slovakia being banned from the site indirectly. At the time of writing, the only internet service provider to have followed through with this so far is O2.It seems that the block was supposed to apply only to dDandis' account, but instead went out to the entire site. It's unclear whether or not other ISPs will follow suit by banning the entire site or instead limit it to just dDandis. Supposedly, the ban went into affect because of dDandis' online Poker streams, which are in violation of the Slovakian laws about promotion of gambling.Symph - The hits keep coming for Twitch. It seems like they are getting more erratic with their bannings and making mistakes while allowing things like our last story to fester. What do you think needs to happen at Twitch to make positive change?Ludwig defends Twitch gambling sponsorships after Clint Stevens' criticismStreaming star Ludwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahrgen jumped to the defense of Twitch streamers who take up gambling sponsorships after speedrunner Clint Stevens argued against them.Gambling streams have existed on Twitch pretty much since the very start. There are plenty of content creators who sit and play slots, poker, or blackjack all day, with viewers tuned in to see them win huge payouts. After speedrun star Clint Stevens said that streamers could simply choose not to accept gambling sponsorships, Ludwig jumped to the defense of streamers who accept them.“Does he not f**king get that people’s careers on Twitch last literally years and then it goes away? Like a few f**king years,” Ludwig said, referring to streamers securing the bag as they grow more and more popular.Clint also criticized other products that regularly appear as Twitch sponsors, and Ludwig defended them as well, noting he doesn’t take “stupid sponsorships”...

They have entered into a corporate partnership with Twitch. From The Nations Restaurant News.Chipotle Mexican Grill and livestream gaming platform Twitch have entered a partnership naming Chipotle the exclusive limited-service restaurant of /twitchgaming, a new channel on the platform, the brands announced last week. This is the first partnership of its kind for the social media platform. The fast-casual chain will be the official marketing partner for the channel, which is being described as a place for gamers by gamers on the platform. The channel will have sessions about the future of gaming, news related to gaming, celebrity participants and more. Throughout the summer, Twitch will host multiple events to boost the channel’s reach, and some of those will be in partnership with Chipotle. As a part of the sponsorship, Chipotle will host a new game. “Chipotle Build Your Own PC,” inspired by Chipotle’s burrito bar format, will have players will build their own PCs with streaming “extras” (e.g. lighting panels and soundproofing equipment), and donate the PCs to a non-profit organization.Chipotle is also launching a branded feature where hosts and guests provide their unfiltered opinions on the gaming topic at hand.Jeff: Do these sort of corporate partnerships mean main stream adoption or will they ultimately bring Twitch down?Twitch Bans Amouranth, Indiefoxx, and More Over Controversial "ASMR Meta"Twitch has banned Amouranth, Indiefoxx, ExoHydraX, and more over recent ASMR streams. At the moment of publishing, Twitch has not confirmed this is the reason behind the ban spree, but given who the targets are and that all of the bannings came at once, suggests it's for said streamer's participation in the new "ASMR TikTok Leggings Yoga Meta," more often referred to as the "ASMR Meta."Much like the Hot Tub streams before, this new meta exploded out of nowhere, with many of the same streamers involved. As you may remember, both Amouranth and IndieFoxx were at the origins of the Hot Tub meta, and they were once again at the center of the new ASMR Meta as well. And for their troubles, they've banned by the platform, though it's unclear if the bans are temporary or permanent. At the moment of publishing, Twitch has not addressed the controversial new meta in any capacity beyond these bannings. As you may remember, it was very slow to address the equally controversial Hot Tub meta, so this may not change anytime soon, and it may not change at all if these bannings kill off the meta, which has yet to take off on the same level as the hot tub meta. That said, the bannings come after many in the Twitch community -- including several of the platform's top streamers -- began to criticize the trend and Twitch for its lack of response.Beard: Was Twitch right to ban these streamers over the new ASMR Meta?Adin Ross warns Twitch fans not to buy 'trash' crypto coin he hyped up in paid streamPopular Twitch streamer Adin Ross has admitted to promoting a ‘trash’ cryptocurrency to his audience, laughing about the deal weeks later while hoping “no one actually bought it.”Various cryptocurrencies and token exchange platforms have become increasingly prominent sponsors across social media in 2021.Ross was just one of many streamers engaged with a recent crypto push on Twitch. However, just weeks later, the popular figure has now laughed off one such deal, and admitted he hoped “none of his fans actually bought in.”During a sponsored Twitch stream in May, Ross was actively pushing a newly created ‘MILF Token.’ Throughout the broadcast, he was converting hundreds of dollars into the cryptocurrency and pushing it in front of thousands of viewers watching him live.Ross also promoted the Token in a now-deleted tweet. At the time Ross was paid for the sponsored stream, MILF Token was valued at upwards of $0.001 on CoinMarketCap. Today the cryptocurrency now sits at a price of $0.00006, marking a decline of roughly 180% in just a few weeks.Reflecting on his paid engagement with the crypto brand, Ross laughed about the situation in a June 18 broadcast. “Chat, ...

Welcome the champ.Streaming NewsStreamer says she received an email from Twitch warning of DMCA strike for performing coversAs we've talked about many times recently Twitch is cracking down on DMCA claims against streamers. This next story though might leave you wondering what can't be copyrighted. From DOT EsportsMusician and Twitch partner AyyTrae shared during a recent stream that she received an email from the platform informing her that her covers could wind up resulting in her receiving a DMCA strike on her channel.“Previously Twitch said it was fine as long as you’re controlling every aspect of the music so I was playing the guitar and I was singing,” AyyTrae said. “So it should have been fine but now they’re saying that I cannot have covers of music.”While covers aren’t commonly thought of as targets for DMCA takedowns, they still breach the copyright infringement laws over the composition of a song, leaving them vulnerable to being flagged.AyyTrae’s words come just over a week after Twitch sent out a batch of DMCA takedown notices to streamers, along with an email detailing what creators should do to protect themselves from being targeted.I hope the dmca attorneys don't start hanging out in local bars on saturday nights.Irish - Does this seem excessive to you? What do you think Twitch needs to do to give its creators a little more protection?Dr Disrespect likely banned from $300K World Series of Warzone tournament over Twitch tiesBad news for fans of violence, speed, and momentum. According to the World Series of Warzone ruleset and Twitch partnership, it seems that Dr Disrespect will be banned from the $1.2 million tournament.Warzone is getting its biggest event series of all time: the World Series of Warzone, which has a $1.2 million prize pool and puts 150 streamers, pro players, and content creators in private lobbies. And it looks like Doc will be prevented from participating, let alone getting any air time.Twitch Rivals is partnering with the WSOW and that isn’t good news for Doc fans. For one, the ruleset asserts that all players “shall broadcast their gameplay exclusively on the streaming platform designated.”Additionally, the ruleset also explains that all participants must “be in good standing with respect to the applicable broadcast platform on which the WSOW Tournament is distributed.”Tighe - Do you see this as a Mistepp by the tournament given the Docs popularity? Should they work to try allow him to be involved?Streamer JubileeBlais banned for linking OnlyFans on Twitch twitchJubilee Blaisdell aka JubileeBlais has been banned from Twitch following attempts to promote her OnlyFans during one of her live stream.Twitch streamer JubileeBlais has been caught in action violating Twitch ToS that forbids actively promoting other platforms, namely OnlyFans during live streams for which they have allotted a “Bio” section for all links for external websites. Her channel being marked for mature content doesn’t let her get away with promoting suggestive content.JubileeBlais confirmed that duration of the ban to be 3 days but in the meanwhile fans can find her content on YouTube. She was aware of the ToS that prohibited sharing any links to mature and suggestive content. So far out, there isn’t any explicit display of nudity on her OnlyFans but Twitch couldn’t care less. Even though she has promised to suggestive content  “but I’ll still post some sexy selfies till I figure it out idk”. read one of her Tweet. However, as of now she’ll have to wait for 3 days before she can get back to producing her Pokemon content.Stump - If promoting other platforms is against TOS every streamer on this platform is in big trouble.Tech/Gaming News -  Brought to you by The Guy from the sneak commercial OFFICIALLY ROGUEXbox Will Be Built Into TVs, Xbox-Branded Streaming Devices AnnouncedMicrosoft is working with TV manufacturers around the world to "embed the Xbox experience directly into" internet-connected TVs. The livestreaming service is testing Follower Emotes that let broadcasters hand out up to five emotes just for following their channels. You can only use the emotes in the channels where you earned them, unlike subscription emotes, but this lets you show support for a streamer without having to use generic or third-party icons.Certain Affiliates and Partners will get these follow-specific emotes as part of a beta. The feedback from the test should lead to a wider rollout later in 2021.There will be an extra motivation to pay, mind you. Twitch is introducing Animated Emotes for Tier 1 subscribers that, as the name implies, add a dash of movement. Creators will have up to five animated icons they can either produce from scratch or quickly build using canned animations like shaking, spinning and "rave." Partners will have access in weeks (including big names like Seum), while Affiliates should see them by the end of 2021. And yes, Twitch is aware they could be dangerous or annoying for some viewers — you'll have the option to turn them off.Channel owners will have an easier time managing emotes through a new Library that provides control over every approved emote, whether or not it's active. A streamer can retire or revive emotes without having to seek re-approval or otherwise walk through the upload process. This could be particularly helpful for holidays and other times when themed emotes are popular. The Library will be available to all Affiliates and Partners, but access will be phased in over the course of a few months.Twitch said the emote updates would help mark its 10th anniversary, and that there was "so much more planned" for the milestone. Don't be surprised if you see other sizeable changes, even if Twitch has already announced a few notable examples in advance.Angel -  This seems like good news all around! Not just for viewers and streamers but for emote artists. Whats your take on this rollout.GeorgeNotFound's scuffed hot tub stream shatters Pokimane's Twitch recordFirst from DexertoMinecraft YouTuber and Twitch megastar GeorgeNotFound shocked fans with an extremely scuffed hot tub stream that ended up shattering a viewership record previously held by Pokimane. On June 2, GeorgeNotFound took to Twitter to announce he was having an “epic hot tub stream” and fans absolutely ate it up.things got off to a super rocky start, as a hole in the tub started causing water to leak out of the pool and into his house. Despite this, he persevered and eventually got into the tub, albeit with clothes on.Crazily, this stunt resulted in over 350,000 viewers, demolishing Pokimane and OfflineTV’s hot tub stream record that pulled 100K.Throughout the stream, George would spin a wheel with a bunch of humiliating tasks on it and whichever it landed on he would perform. These included the ever awkward “change into a new outfit” task, which poked fun at female streamers who often switch up their bikinis throughout a broadcast to even drinking the water in the tub. While the whole broadcast didn’t end up lasting too long, it did create some pretty entertaining moments, kicked off some new merch sales and broke the previous hot tub viewership record.Rebel - This is obviously a pretty funny take on the hot tub meta. How do you feel about the overall shift to this type of stream?Twitch Manages To Get Out Some 'Disappointment' With Music Industry Over Latest Round Of DMCA ClaimsTwitch recently sent out an email that it had received roughly 1,000 additional DMCA takedown notices, almost all of them again over music playing in the background of recorded Twitch videos.Said Twitch in its email on Friday: “We are committed to being more transparent with you about DMCA. We recently received a batch of DMCA take down notifications with about 1,000 individual claims from music publishers.“All of the claims are for the VODs and the vast majority target streamers listening to background music while playing video games or IRL streaming. It is believed that this type of content is why Amouranth’s channel can no longer be monetized with ads – and it will cost her a significant loss of income.According to the streamer herself, an average month of ad revenue on Twitch for her was around $35,000 – $40,000.Meaning, that over an entire year of streaming, this could amount to as much as $480,000 from ads alone – an income she will no longer be able to generate on Twitch.Red- I am sure she will find a way to make up for the lost revenue dont you think?Twitch is lowering subscription prices — but says streamers will earn more moneyTwitch is announcing a big change to subscription prices — but not for users in the US.From the vergeMost countries outside of the US will be getting lower prices that will be localized to their specific country, starting with Turkey and Mexico on May 20th. Those lower prices will mean less money for streamers, but Twitch believes they’ll translate to more subscribers and higher earnings in the long run.The upcoming change is intended to make subscriptions more affordable for Twitch’s global audience. And early tests from Twitch seem promising: the company tested localized pricing in Brazil and saw that streamer revenue and total subscriber count “more than doubled,”But Twitch is also preparing for a potential scenario where streamers could see their revenue fall as a result of the price changes, because streamers will need more subscribers — potentially a lot more — just to match their current earnings. If a streamer’s revenue falls below their usual baseline (which Twitch calculates for every streamer) after the localized prices roll out, Twitch will pay that streamer a “revenue adjustment incentive” to help make up the difference.Ghost - Ghost I am wondering how this will affect gift subs. Like say I gift a sub to another country streamer will they get the revenue split of my payment or what a sub is in their country. What do you think??Twitch introduces experimental 'chant' feature for chattersTwitch is giving some communities access to a new experimental chat feature called “chant,” the popular streaming platform announcedThe feature gives content creators and moderators who use the /chant command to “suggest messages in chat.”The command will then give viewers a private message encouraging them to join others in spamming the specific message. This feature will only available for a limited time, according to Twitch’s post on its customer support account on Twitter.
