    Today on the Take on Board podcast I’m speaking with Christine Miller about diversity in the boardroom.


    Christine is on the boards of Advisory boards on: BioNJ, Antimicrobials Working Group, HBA. She has previously been on the boards of Iveric Bio.

    Christine Miller is currently the President and CEO of Melinta Therapeutics, where she is accelerating transformation, and redefining the portfolio from pure play antibiotics to become a leader in the acute care space. Christine loves working in the healthcare space. She says: "The potential to drive innovation and transformation for companies, teams, stakeholders and patients – is the compass that guides my purpose. But a leader’s job is more than driving innovation – it’s about making sure there is honesty and meaning behind your purpose to ensure you’re always doing the right thing at the right time, no matter how hard things get."

    Abby is on the boards of DataDrivesInsight.com. Abby is a leadership coach and psychologist, with over 20 years’ experience working as a trusted advisor to a range of sectors including health, care, local government and non-for profits.


    Starting her career in the EAP and critical incident counselling space, Abby has experienced firsthand, the devastating consequences of poor psychological safety at work. Forever changed by this gut-wrenching work, Abby was committed to tackling both individual behaviour and systemic practices to create psychologically safe teams and working relationships. Abby co-founded datadrivesinsight.com with long term colleagues and is committed to using empirical data to inform meaningful change. Now a seasoned presenter and facilitator, Abby represents DDI at speaking engagements across the country, sharing insights from our research in a practical and thought-provoking way.

    Lynn is a chair and board director of public, listed, and not-for-profit organisations. She specialises in digital and data governance, including cyber security, digital transformation, innovation and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and the Internet-of-Things. Her experience spans multiple sectors, including utilities & critical infrastructure, government, tertiary education, retail/wholesale, and technology consulting and services. Lynn has been a long-term tech diversity advocate throughout her career, and she’s also an industry mentor with start-up accelerator hub Stone & Chalk, supporting founders to scale their tech businesses.
