3AW's brekafast session in the early to mid 1980's was hosted by John Blackman and "Uncle Roy", a part played by Bruce Mansfield.

Each year they would prerecord a Christmas special. This one was from Christmas day, 1982.

In the early 1980s, Gavin Wood hosted the breakfast show on 92.3 EON FM.
Each Tuesday and Thursday, Gavin would be joined by Ian "Molly" Meldrum.
As a part of the program they would perform a twice weekly sketch with Molly as a straight laced Batman, and Gavin as a rather flamboyant Robin.

In 1998 Lee O'Keefe was the producer and panel operator for 3AW football.
He had a keen ear for good and funny radio and compiled several montages of the work of Rex Hunt and the team. This is one of Lee's best. My understanding is that this package was never meant to go to air but it has on several occasions.
Despite containing a little "blue" material, not one complaint has ever been lodged in the many times this has been played.
