  • E002. Sasha Chifura, a CEO's reflection on his journey to a successful business exit in the music industry
    Jan 22 2023

On Episode 2, we celebrate a huge career milestone with 26-year-old entrepreneur, Sasha Chifura.

With a decade's worth of experience in the Australian music industry, 2019 saw his companies, Foreign Echo (artist management agency) and Valve Sounds (record label), partner with Mushroom Group - the largest independent music and entertainment collective in Australia.

Sasha teaches us a little about music industry economics, reflects on the Black Australian identity, and reminds us of the value of important relationships in our life to keep us grounded.

Showing no signs of stopping, Sasha teases a year ahead that sees him involved in the launch of a new wine label and the opening of a new bar in West Melbourne.

In my mind, he perfectly embodies the empathetic yet prudent CEO that respects the near- and far-term ROI of having a loyal team around you to quickly and flawlessly execute on business ventures.

In his mind, he'll tell you he would be nothing without his friends.

I'm very excited for you to meet Sasha.

    Enjoy the podcast, everyone.

  • E001. Interview with Nick Gardner, Fitness First, Personal Trainer: How to stay relevant in your career.
    Nov 23 2022

A fellow Fitness First Personal Trainer, 19-year-old Nick Gardner gives me much-appreciated advice on how to navigate the Fitness industry by recounting highlights and lessons learned from his first year on the job.

He goes over his views on what makes a good personal trainer, how to achieve work-life balance, and how he's had to deal with a difficult client.

I didn't know Nick that well before this conversation but at the end I'm reminded that wisdom is a result of someone's work ethic, humility, and has nothing to do with how long they've been alive.

This marks the first episode of the Aaron Beyond podcast found on Spotify and Apple Music.
