The Barossa Podcast by 100 Barossa Artists aims to paint a picture through words of the creative region we live in; creating understanding through the power of voice and narrative, informing, building community connection and influencing positive change. 100 Barossa Artists is an artist led initiative creating opportunities to upscale Arts in the greater Barossa region, focused on the development of grassroots, collaborative projects within the art community. This project is the next step to recognise and grow from 10 to 100 to 1000 Barossa Artists capturing 100 Barossa Stories, a ’self portrait’ through the the art of storytelling.

    In this episode of the Barossa Podcast we chat with Artist Belinda Wilson. Belinda was the inaugural recipient of the Barossa Women's Artist Residency in 2023. The Residency was a Barossa Regional Gallery initiative, funded by the generosity of local donors and supported by the Barossa Council.

    The beautiful outcomes of her month long stay in Barossa late 2023 have been hung at the Wonderground Gallery in April and May 2024 and many will be found in the homes of collectors around the country. Belinda has such an interesting perspective on the Barossa both visually and culturally. We can't wait to see more of her work and talk to her again.
