Bev Pitawanakwat is an Anishnaabekwe originally from Wiikwemkoong. We talk about what it takes to build the self confidence needed to make history.  This episode is full of stories, experiences, and lessons learned from her time serving as a Navy Diver as well as a recruiter in the RCMP. 

Ocean Kiana Cherneski is an Ojibwe artist from Pic River First Nation in Northern Ontario. We talk about her decision to start Oceankiana.com while she is still in school as well as why she thinks people shouldn't wait to chase their dreams.

Brooke Stacey is a professional hockey player that currently plays for the Buffalo Beauts in the National Women's Hockey League. We talk about her experience growing up in Kahnawake, attending the Ontario Hockey Academy as well as her experience playing Division 1 in the NCAA with the University of Maine. 

We also talk about her experience becoming a mother and what it takes to chase your dreams and believing in yourself. 

Philina Sky is a Nurse in Northern Ontario, she specializes in diabetes and foot care. We discuss her experiences going back to school later in life and what it was like to break into the nursing profession as a dene cree woman. We also talk about her experiences as a care provider in Northern Ontario through her business minowaywin mishkikii kwe. 

In this episode I sit down with Dr Cheechoo and we discuss her life, her challenges and how she overcame those challenges to get to where she is today.
