On this week's episode of The Brave Little Homer podcast, I trauma dump all of the issues that have been magnified over the past week. The second half is here and the hopes for turning the season around are pretty bleak with Reynoldo Lopez leaving yesterday's game, Michael Harris II hitting the 60-Day IL, and Snit putting Duvy in the lead-off spot.
Is there a way to save it? Is AA out of his depth this year with the trade deadline quickly approaching tomorrow at 6:00 pm ET? We talk about it, as well as a deep dive into my first visit and stay at the Battery and Truist Park.
Keep the faith my friends, we will get through this together. GO BRAVES

On this week's episode of The Brave Little Homer Podcast, I talk about my time at Fenway Park last week, before jumping into the beginning of the second half of the Atlanta Braves' 2024 season. We have new injuries to navigate with Max Fried's forearm issues, and the possible injury to Ozzie Albies yesterday. This inherently updates my wishlist for AA heading into the trade deadline in a couple weeks. I feel like it's getting old, but we desperately need a boost in clutch hits and overall workplace morale. I talk about where I think we need to go for the second half and much more. Thanks for listening!

On this week's Episode of the Brave Little Homer Podcast we talk about Last week's ups and downs with the Braves versus San Fransisco and the Philadelphia Phillies. I continue to be obsessed with Jarred Kelenic in the leadoff spot, appreciate the improvements in the heart of our lineup, and beg for some help towards the bottom. I talk about how I'd like AA to address those short comings and more at the trade deadline. I also shout out our pitchers, especially Reynoldo Lopez and his best-in-baseball sub 2.00 ERA. Also, we had the Skipper in the house this week! Bobby Cox made his way back to Truist Park to meet the squad and inspire the troops, and we talk about it. Also, my all time favorite "Today in Braves History!" "Headlocks and Wedlocks"? Absolutely!
All this and more on this week's episode!

    Thank you for listening!

Reminder, next week there will be no episode for the all-star break and I will be traveling to Fenway Park! See you again on the 22nd!

On this week's episode of The Brave Little Homer Podcast, there is so much to be optimistic and happy about following a five and one week from the Braves! I'm obsessed with Jarred Kellenic in the leadoff spot, the Braves took two out of three from the best team in baseball and SnitBear continues to be the difference maker. We talk the improvements to the lineup, our solid starting three pitchers, if I think Schwellenbach will have what it takes to cement his spot in the rotation, and a very cool obscure group for Brave Birthdays and Baseball History. Things are looking up!

On this week's episode of The Brave Little Homer Podcast, we are cautiously optimistic about how great the Braves have looked offensively over the last four games! Is it the Rally Bear/Baby Bear/Little Bear? Or is the slump just over? Olson and Riley are bringing the power hitting crush that the team desperately needed and Jared Kelenic is showing he's HIM in the leadoff spot. Will the Olson and Riley combo be enough to join Ozuna to carry this team far into the playoffs? We talk about it, and what tests lie ahead in the form of the New York Yankees. We also have a special ESPN radio winner for the "Well That's Embarrassing" Moment of the week!

On this week's episode of the Brave Little Homer Podcast, we break down how bad it is that the Braves have only gone 2 and 6 against the Nationals in their last two four-game sets since 5/27. Spoiler alert, it's not good. We also start the discussion on the trade deadline. I let you know what is on my 2024 MLB Trade Deadline wishlist, and then tell you what I think AA will realistically do. We also talk Joe Giglio Sports' take that the NL East is over? We've heard that before... Right Sal? Also credit where credit is due, I have our starting rotation's back, and ask some of the hard questions about these young guys in our farm system. Thanks for tuning in!

On this week's episode of The Brave Little Homer Podcast we discuss the lackluster week against equally lackluster teams. We talk the best news MLB has gotten ages, what the Atlanta Braves are going to do without Ronald Acuna Jr., how to push the Braves into the right direction with our offense, and David Fletcher pitching. How we always end up talking about David Fletcher on this podcast when he has contributed almost nothing to the major league squad so far this year, I have no idea. Alas, we have our first Brave Little Homer "Well That's Embarrassing" HOF member (although it is honorary), too early trade deadline talk, and where the Braves need to go from here.

On this week's episode of The Brave Little Homer podcast we discuss why this past week felt so much worse than a .500 week. We finish our discussion about our play with the Padres last Monday, before diving into the analysis of our Chicago/Pittsburgh road trip. Matt Olson seems to be back, and our starting four arms have been solid, but will that be enough to weather the storm with the current Braves' oblique pandemic and injury bug? With April and May behind us, what needs to happen to get the Braves back on track and start chipping away at that 6 game deficit in the NL East? We talk about it, as well as discuss the upcoming week of opportunity for the Atlanta Braves.
