  • Community Led Innovative Research

    In this powerful episode of The Bridge Your Health Your Voice, host Paris Barnes welcomes our Executive Director of the PATIENTS Program, Dr. Daniel Mullins, and Pastor Franklin Lance, Senior Pastor of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. Together, they unveil a transformative initiative led by the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy’s PATIENTS Program, in collaboration with other UMB schools and external partners.

    Funded by the NIH, this initiative positions UMB as ahealth research hub, supporting Community-Led Research Projects (CRPs) through a four-unit structure focused on administration, research methods, capacity building, and community engagement. Pastor Lance shares the origin of his partnership with Dr. Mullins, rooted in trust and a shared mission to address health disparities in West Baltimore. Listeners will gain insight into.
