  • Episode 3 - "The New Post-NAR-Settlement Buyer Agent"
    Apr 4 2024

In this episode of The Build Up, your host Kayla Gustafson talks through a topic fresh on a lot of people’s minds lately – the NAR settlement and its impact on buyer representation. In the last month there's been a lot of good and bad chatter from agents and brokerages, and a lot of salacious news stories about how the housing marketing will change as a result of this settlement. Things are definitely changing in the industry but we need to get to the bottom if it, factually. Not only will we dive deep into the what the March 15th NAR settlement was about and means, but we will dive into what it will likely mean for buyers going forward and what you should know if you’re currently working with or planning to work with an agent in the future.

I’m Kayla Gustafson, Realtor, licensed builder, land developer, and new construction expert in the great state of Minnesota and I’m the host of the new podcast, The Build Up.

I started this Podcast as a place to talk about what I’ve learned and seen in my nearly decade of experience in the housing industry. In my different roles, I’ve seen all the sides and I have thoughts.

There’s so much information that doesn’t make it to the public related to new construction, building, developing, realtors, etc. I want to bring all of that to light and demystify it. Not just for buyers and sellers but for other professionals in the industry so we’re all moving the industry forward.

There’s a lot we’re not talking about in the real estate industry because it’s not popular, it’s not what clients want to hear, it’s not good for sales, etc. I want to cut through all the bullshit on this podcast. So if you’re in to that, I invite you to listen.

New episodes will be released bi-weekly throughout the season. And you can find it always on my website at kaylagustafson.com, on Spotify, and where ever you get your podcasts.
