    After a long fuel strategy run developed, a late race caution would throw Sunday's Brickyard 400 upside down. Brad Keselowski ran out of gas coming to the green flag in an overtime restart. In the end it Kyle Larson would finally get his win in Indy this year, and announce a return in May for the Indy 500.

    Sunday's USA Today 301 at New Hampshire motor speedway became a test of the wet weather package for the first time in a points paying race. Amazingly we saw five wide racing on the mile oval as teams raced the wet weather tire. Christopher Bell had a fast car in the dry but especially on the wet, leading to Bell's third victory this season, and second of the weekend after winning Saturday's Xfinity race.

    Sonoma's repave proved to be a success as we saw slick track conditions cause chaos early on in Sunday's Toyota/Save Mart 350, there would be 8 cautions by the end of stage 2, but by stage three the drivers got a handle on their cars and the fans got to see a bunch of strategies play out. In the end it would be Kyle Larson on 13 lap fresher tires pass Martin Truex Jr for the win. Unfortunately for Truex, he ran out of gas on the final lap and would finish sub 20th place.

    The third best car won, but that shouldn't take away from a very needed and impressive run as the 2 car of Austin Cindric found themselves in Victory Lane. Although Bell and Blaney had better cars through out the day Cindric held his own getting the outside pole position, and leading 53 laps to land him a playoff spot putting himself in position to capitalize on Bell's engine issues, and Blaney running out of fuel on the last lap.
