  • Movie Talk with Bernardo Britto and SadieBones!
    Sep 24 2024
The BUZZ is back with another double feature as we sat down with director and writer, Bernardo Britto, and director SADIEBONES, to talk about their respective films.

Britto, the writer and director of the movie, "Omni Loop," explained the concept of the film, which revolves around a woman trapped in a time loop due to a metaphorical 'black hole' in her heart. We discussed the relatability of this concept and the potential consequences of reliving one's past. We also highlighted the impressive acting performances in the film, particularly by Ayo Edebiri ("The Bear") and Mary Louise Parker. Find out how the cast and the film came to be in the discussion.

SadieBones is the daughter of Kevin Corrigan, who starred in the sitcom, "Grounded for Life." She shared insights about her movie, "If That Mockingbird Don't Sing," and her experience as one of the youngest directors in the film industry. We emphasized the importance of having new blood in the industry and highlighted SadieBones' unique perspective, having grown up within the industry due to her family's involvement.

Both "Omni Loop" and "If That Mockingbird Don't Sing" are available on Video On-Demand (VOD).

    Sep 23 2024
In promoting the latest installment in the "Surge of Power" series, Vincent J. Roth stopped by the BUZZCast to celebrate 20 years of the franchise. The latest film is not shy of superhero cameos, and we got to geek out over who appears in the movie. The story follows Surge teaming up with guest superhero, The Smoke, to uncover a mysterious plot of the villain group, The Council.

Roth spoke with us about returning guest actors Shannon Farnon (who was one of the original voices of Wonder Woman during the "SuperFriends" series) and the late Nichelle Nichols ("Star Trek"). Nichols will be appearing in two more of the "Surge of Power" movies. Roth talked about how the inspiration came to be for Surge.

    Sep 19 2024
The BUZZ recently had the pleasure of chatting with two guests promoting their latest films. First up was RJ Collins, who directed the movie, "Crescent City." The film stars Terrence Howard and Alec Baldwin, and it follows the story of a string of serial killer murders.

While the police are trying to uncover who is responsible, it becomes a much bigger game when they start to realize that they cannot trust their own. Collins spoke with us about how long it took the movie to see the light of day. He also spoke about the actors in the film and the scene that wowed him when he saw it portrayed.
