  • Since we go so in-depth with our investigation into Bill Gothard's Institute in Basic Life Principles we typically split each episode into 2 parts...but this one really needed to stay whole. Editing it down was tricky because it all felt important and felt like it really shouldn't be split so here we are with a one part episode! We briefly go through the IBLP's 49 suggested character qualities everyone should have, and this provided us with a wealth of examples of how the IBLP misuses scripture (and grammar...which if you listened to our last episode, isn't shocking). 

    Make sure you stick with us to the end because we discuss the unmentioned quality that is rampant within some evangelical spaces, including the IBLP, and that is narcissism. Please join us as we struggle through reading the King James Version of the Bible just to say that overall the IBLP has failed the test on accurately using scripture.
