The CEC Connection

  • Summary

  • The CEC Connection is my self-serving and simultaneously outwardly valuable podcast project. CEC is an acronym for Challenge Established Conceptions. The main idea behind it is to interview experts and high-level performers in various industries or fields of study, controversial and influential public figures, highly successful and intelligent individuals, and generally anyone else whom I have a genuine, curiosity-fueled interest in conversing with or whom I believe I can learn a lot from.

I've taken inspiration in this from many people I follow because of the value I have personally extracted from each of their respective podcasts. To highlight a few of these podcasts, think of projects such as The Joe Rogan Experience, Huberman Lab, Modern Wisdom, The Diary of a CEO, The Tim Ferriss Show, Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu, Within Reason, Lex Fridman Podcast, The Jordan B. Peterson Podcast, The School of Greatness, and many more.

These individuals and their projects are so valuable precisely because they're truly interested in picking the brains of those they bring on as guests. These types of projects are win-win-win scenarios. Consider that the host derives insights AND monetary gain, the guest derives more exposure on more platforms (garnering more attention for themselves), and the viewers derive insights of their own simply by tuning in, which is essentially zero-cost/high-reward.

  • #2 - Education, Mental Health, Psychology, & Success | Lincoln Stoller
    Jul 22 2024

In this 'freestyle' discussion with psychologist and physicist Lincoln Stoller, we begin by spitballing some ideas and proceed by building upon the conversational blocks as we lay them.

We had no set script or topic, and simply opted to go with the flow of dialogue to see where it led us. As a result, the conversation got a bit bouncy and elusive to pin down. However, there were some nuggets in here that I thought useful for you. The production quality here isn't the best, but we are only getting started.

Our discussion consisted, in the end, of topics such as pedagogy and education, the human mind, epiphanies, psychology, mental health and therapy, influence, success, and more.

    Think for yourself.

  • #1 - Intro: A Brief Backstory
    Jul 3 2024

This is the intro for my YouTube channel. However, it contains the same reasons and story that fundamentally drives this podcast as well, so I opted for using it as a double-introduction for the time being. That is, until I refine everything with improvements.
