  • Birmingham 1963: The Children of Change is a powerful story, told from the perspective of a grandmother, about the events that took place in Birmingham during the Civil Rights movements for Black Equality. This story in particular goes into detail about the Children's Crusade and how it shaped our country's future.

    This is the first act of a two-act podcast project written and directed in conjunction with the Jefferson State Community College Spotlight Club. It was written by Phi Theta Kappa, Beta Lambda Delta chapter at Jefferson State Community College, and by playwrights Hannah Combs, Teresa McGill, Gabriel Miller, and Lesley Warren. Directed by Theater Instructor Lesley Warren.
