    In this episode, I'd like to share five things I wish I knew before starting his career in education. The importance of embracing the learning curve and understanding that no one is perfect when they first start teaching. The need for adaptability, as there is no one-size-fits-all approach in education. Building relationships takes time and requires authenticity. Being a Black male educator comes with its own challenges, but owning one's identity and unique perspective can have a positive impact on students. Lastly, to embrace their uniqueness and not be afraid to be themselves.
