Completely Missed Potential

Podcasts are, imo, intended to be opinion based while still providing facts. I “followed” this podcast before I finished listening to a whole episode; that’s how much I thought I would enjoy the Podcast - even if it happened that I disagreed with some opinions along the way.

Unfortunately, despite the Caster’s pleasant voice, the production value is subpar and there was a minimal amount of facts proffered (and nothing I couldn’t learn just from reading the page results of a Google search.) Because of this, it didn’t hold my attention.

But then, opinion turned from being the Caster’s view to being overt condemnation based on zero evidence. If he had made particular statements about a race, gender or religion, he’d be outcast rather than podcast.
…. And, yes, I AM aware that the title includes the word “rag” so I expected harsh critique and, even eagerly awaited it! But, this man made contemptuous, blanket, erroneous statements based on speculation and conjecture about groups of people, not opinion about situations. (And, I have supporting facts to counter his damming commentary - not just blind speculation.)

It’s a pity; I was looking forward to this podcast.

I unfollowed.

Decide for yourself. Just know that it’s time off your life clock you’ll waste and never get back.
