Sarah, the wife of Abraham! What a wonderful woman she was! Her faith shines for us all because she chose to believe that God’s promise was stronger than her circumstances. In that deep abiding trust, she received strength to do what she knew to be humanly impossible. Hebrews 11:11

As Jesus continues to move from town to town, preaching the kingdom of God there is a noticeable change in the air. The people are learning who He is and what He can do, but so are the scribes and the Pharisees. They are threatened by Jesus, His message, and His miracles and they have already begun devising a plan to destroy Him.

The two godly women we will consider today will be Marry and Martha, with a special emphasis on Mary. No one else has a heart for Jesus the way Mary does. She listens to Him, she mourns with Him, and she worships Him in such beautiful ways. Let's see what we can learn from these two women as we watch them with the Savior of the world.
