  • Dirty Dancing (1987)
    May 8 2024
May of Swayz: Uncaged continues with a movie that absolutely shot Patrick Swayze into super stardom! This movie won an Oscar and was the first movie to sell over 1million copies on VHS but is it as good as we remember it? Is Johnny one of the worst characters ever? Why did they decide to randomly add 80s songs into a movie taking place in the 60s? Is this REALLY the plot that they came up with? • Donnie Darko (2001)
    May 1 2024
If you don’t listen to this new episode, we are seriously going to doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion. Donnie Darko is one of the most-cherished and analyzed films of all-time. We give you a deeper understanding of what exactly is happening in this movie, as well as a spirited discussion on whether feces are baby mice, if keg beer is for pussies and whether or not, smurfs are asexual. The start of May of Swayz: Uncaged month. I thought it was about food!

I thought it was about food, however this podcast about nostalgic movies from my childhood has encouraged me to rewatch a ton of movies I loved. Some have been better than I remembered some worse but this band of misfits has kept me laughing during the long days working in 100 degree days in South Texas.
