• Scheffler Wins Surrounded by the Cops

    • Protesters. Cops. A playoff. And a record sixth win on the season for Scottie Scheffler at the Traveler's Championship (1:42).
    • A runaway finish for journeywoman Amy Yang who claimed the KMPG Women's PGA Championship this weekend. The rest of the field couldn't keep up, and that included Nelly Korda who didn't even make the cut (5:37).
    • LIV Nashville was a surprisingly loud affair, with drones, line dancing, and crowds that followed now 2-time major champion Bryson DeChambeau (7:33).
    • The PGA TOUR now heads to Detroit for the Rocket Mortgage Classic, and we all hope that Rickie Fowler can put together another good week like last year (10:01).
    • Alex's trip last week to Horseshoe Bay Resort included a lot more than just golf, and Jacqueline Lajoie from the resort chats with Alex about how it's family friendly and just the thing for some time away (11:24).
    • In Tuned In, Michael shares reviews from watching Jerry Seinfeld's Unfrosted on Netflix, and catching the new film Thelma in theaters staring 93 year old June Squibb. Alex meanwhile couldn't get enough of Travis Kelce's cameo on the Era's Tour in London (26:43).
    • Alex's Celtics claimed they record 18th NBA Title last week, and he reveled in the parade in downtown Boston. Now attention turns to the Boston Red Sox, Michael's New York Yankees, and in another month, football (35:31).

  • DeChambeau wins the 2024 US Open

    • Bryson DeChambeau won the 2024 US Open at Pinehurst No. 2, a course that ravaged everybody, except Bryson. Rory McIlroy put on a good show, but Michael predicts Rory will never rise to the occasion at a major championship again (1:26).
    • The LPGA's Meijer Classic ended in a 3-player playoff, and Lexi Thompson, on her farewell tour after announcing her retirement, couldn't quiet finish it out (10:08).
    • The PGA TOUR heads north to Connecticut for the Travelers Championship, where Keagan Bradley looks to defend and others who had a bad week in North Carolina look to rebound (11:22).
    • Alex is spending the week at Horseshoe Bay Resort, a Golf and Spa resort outside of Austin, TX. Alex chats with Director of Golf Anthony Holder about the award winning golf resort, and what makes their 3 public courses so special (13:29).
    • While not watching the US Open, Michael got out into Savannah and enjoyed one the many ghost tours the city is known for, but the star of the tour was one very intimate couple (29:26).
    • Alex's trek to Dallas for Game 4 of the NBA Finals did not produce the desired result for his Celtics (since recording, the Boston franchise secured their 18th title), but he still enjoyed the experience in style (34:52).

  • 2024 US Open Preview

    • At Muirfield Village, Jack Nicklaus shared the hand of Scottie Scheffler who continues to dominate in Tiger Woods fashion with his win at the Memorial (1:28).
    • Alex made the trek to LIV Houston to see if it really was "Golf, but louder." Spoiler: it wasn't (5:47).
    • On the DP World Tour, they held their annual mixed field event, the Volvo Cars Scandinavian Mixed, where the leader had an unfortunate collapse to allow Linn Grant her second win at the event (11:42).
    • On the LPGA Tour, Linnea Strom made the cut on the number, then posted a record tying round to overcome a 6-shot deficit to win the ShopRite LPGA Classic (13:21).
    • The US Open returns to Pinehurst No. 2, where Scottie Scheffler is far and way the favorite. Usually one to shy away from the favorites, Alex thinks it may be a good idea to bet hard on Scottie, whose game is well suited for the North Carolina course (15:43).
    • In Tuned In, Alex is sharing in the joy of a hole-in-one for a golf creator whose not the best at the game, while Michael finally got a round of simulator golf in at X Golf (19:45).
    • The NBA Finals have started with a bang for the Boston Celtics, and Alex is hopeful he'll be at the deciding game in Dallas for his hometown Celtics (26:18).
    • The Women's Olympic Basketball team was announced for Team USA, and Caitlin Clark is notably absent, but when you stop and look at it, it all makes sense (29:53).

  • Billy Mayfair on Tiger and Golfing with Autism

    • Lancaster CC won the weekend for the US Women's Open, as Nelly Korda didn't even reach Saturday. Sunday's leaders collapsed and a past winner took the prize at the LPGA's second major (1:41).
    • The RBC Canadian Open didn't get another Canadian winner for the second year, but did feature a first timer's emotional win with his dad on the bag (5:03).
    • Scottie "Jailbird" Scheffler's charges have been dropped in Louisville, but his lawyer still had plenty to say about it (7:16).
    • Alex is getting geared up for a trip south for LIV Houston, where Michael warns him to bring earplugs to the "golf, but louder" Texas event (8:35).
    • The PGA TOUR heads to Jack's Place for the Memorial Tournament, and Michael asks is Viktor Hovland can return to form for a repeat (10:04).
    • Outside of sports this week is seemed to all be about Donald Trump and his guilty verdicts in New York. But he still get one of the loudest pops at the MMA fights over the weekend (11:35).
    • This week's guest is 5-time PGA TOUR winner Billy Mayfair. Billy shares stories with Alex about beating Tiger Woods in a playoff (the only one to ever do so), what it was like being diagnosed with autism late in life, and how he now gives back to the autistic community (14:35).
    • Caitlin Clark is getting hammered in the WNBA, with rough hits happening every game. Michael calls it a new bounty-gate, and Alex doesn't understand the hate towards the leagues most well known player (43:23).
    • The NBA Playoffs kick off this week, and the guys are all in on their juggernaut Celtics, while Alex tried to decide if he should go to Dallas for game 4 or a possible game 6 (47:07).
    • The D-III College World Series is a must watch as a "Baseball Miracle" is happening for a team that doesn't have a school anymore (48:12).

    • The PGA TOUR heads to Canada for the RBC Canadian Open, where Rory McIlroy will look to win again as the tournament heads back to Hamilton where he won in 2019 (10:01).
    • Michael was Tuned In to "The Fall Guy" this weekend, where Ryan Gosling captured his heart again. Meanwhile Alex was back at a professional wrestling event for the first time in awhile (11:43).

    • The PGA Championship includes 21 club professionals who qualified at the PGA Professional Championship, and Alex chats with the 2022 champion of that tournament, Jesse Mueller, from Valhalla as he prepared for his fourth Major Championship (26:30).
    • Known as Barstool Trent or Luggage Guy Trent, Trent Ryan chats with Alex from behind the 10th hole at Valhalla and shares one of the best 19th hole answers Michael has ever heard (26:30).
    • The LPGA was at Liberty National for the Mizuho Americas Open, where illness struck early in the week, and Nelly Korda struck at the end with her 6th win in 7 starts (29:48).

    • The PGA Championship at Valhalla kicks off this week, where Scottie Scheffler won't have to worry about the baby coming anymore. The guys look at the odds for the season's second major, Alex shares his plans for the week as he heads to the media center in Louisville, KY, and we hear from PGA Pros Tracy Phillips, Preston Cole, and Tyler Collet from the PGA Professional Championship just a few weeks ago (9:07).
    • Outside of golf, Michael shares his nerdom as he and his wife play through all of their board games over the next two years, and Alex shares the great show he saw with the band AJR (17:10).
    • The NHL and NBA playoffs roll on, and Alex thinks he'd like to see the Celtics and Knicks face off in the next round to help the NYC/Boston rivalry get some juice again (25:54).

    • The LPGA is back in action this weekend at the Cognizant Founders Cup, where Rolex World #1 Nelly Korda looks to extend her record streak to 6 straight wins (21:29).
    • The PGA Tour heads to Quail Hallow for the Wells Fargo Championship, where a certain World #1 is absent and on baby watch ahead of the season's second major (22:37).
