    Today's Promise: James 1:5

There is a difference between knowledge and wisdom. Knowledge is all about the facts; wisdom is about what you do with the facts. Wisdom is about how you live and the choices you make.

Our world is drowning in knowledge. You can find the answer to almost any question or problem in the palm of your hand.

We know more, but are we living any better? Are we making better choices? Are we living wisely?

God's wisdom helps you understand the world around you so you can live successfully.

    Today's Promise: Hebrews 12:15

You can't go through life without experiencing hurt or disappointment.

If you aren't careful, those hurts and disappointments can take hold in your heart. Unforgiveness always leads to bitterness.

You remove the root of bitterness through forgiveness.

As you show others the same grace and forgiveness Christ gives you, you will find those roots of bitterness wither and die.

It takes time, but as you release forgiveness through the grace of God, you will find new freedom, joy, and happiness.

    Today's Promise: John 16:7

Imagine what it must have been like to have walked with Jesus. Imagine seeing Jesus heal the sick, raise the dead, feed the five thousand, and even walk on water.

Now imagine how the disciples felt when Jesus said He was going away, and His going away was to their advantage.

Even for us, it's hard to believe that anything could be better than seeing Jesus with our own eyes. Jesus promised that when He left, He would send the Holy Spirit, who would comfort, teach, and empower them.

    Today’s Promise: 1 Kings 8:56

The God you serve is a promise-keeping God.

In this scripture, Solomon gives a blessing to the people of God. He reviews their history and reminds them that God's promises never fail. What God said He would do; He did.

The God you serve is the God who makes good on His word. You and I can stand alongside King Solomon and agree that not one of God’s promises has failed.

Faith believes that what God has said, He will do.

    Today's Promise: Mark 1:40-41

Leprosy was the most devastating disease of the New Testament days.

The leper who came to Jesus believed He could heal him, but he wasn't sure Jesus would take the time or have the desire to heal him.

When Jesus saw this leper, He responded with compassion. Jesus's compassion was followed by action, and He healed him.

We often come to God in prayer, feeling as though we need to convince God to hear our prayer or meet our needs. We forget that Jesus is generous with His healing and help.
