We may think that technology is the answer to our modern problems with friendship. We can message our friends across the country, or catch up with the happenings of their lives via social media on our own time. With tech, the problems of time and space go away, right? Teacher: Megan MillerThe predicament of modern life is that we are prone to become busier, wealthier people who used to have friends. We will get caught in this current if we do nothing about it, but this is not how it has to be. We can fight against the current, but the fight for friendship starts with fighting for time. If we aren't intentional about our time, our days will be filled with busyness and distractions with no gaps in our schedule but growing gaps in our friendships. We can resist this pull with the art of time and the habit of scheduling.
