    Reverend Joanne Coleman has been a staff minister and trusted collaborator to Rev Michael Bernard Beckwith at Agape International for four decades. Rev Joanne’s unique gift lies in her ability to teach and speak honestly, joyously and intimately of her own spiritual experience and that of ancient Semitic cultures. She offers eloquent insight and wise humor that energize the imagination, satisfy soulish aspirations for fulfillment and helps us taste the Awakened State right now.


    Dr. Allyson Gonzalez came to the West Coast to complete her education in obstetrics and gynecology in 1993. Today, as an OB/GYN in private practice, Dr. Gonzalez provides an exceptional level of women’s health care to patients in Santa Monica and nearby communities. A graduate of Cornell University Medical College, she is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists and a current member of the Association of Black Women Physicians. She provides complete OB/GYN services in a compassionate, welcoming environment.


    Ira Silverberg has worked on the literary side of publishing and the not-for-profit sector for more than thirty years. He was editor-in-chief of Grove Press; founding publisher of Serpent’s Tail/High Risk Books; and a senior editor at Simon & Schuster. He has also been a literary agent, the Director of Literature of the National Endowment for the Arts, and consults for the Bloomberg Philanthropies Arts Innovation Management (AIM) program overseen by the DeVos Institute for the Arts.

With a diverse background in Women’s Studies, Psychology, and Writing, she previously served as a Program Director and Instructor at Jewel Heart Tibetan Buddhist Learning Center. Kathleen is also an accomplished writer, focusing on how Eros informs the mythopoeic reality of life. Her expertise in the field led her to teach Creative Writing at Eastern Michigan University.
